Handwriting
At Rotherfield, our children take a pride in their work and in their presentation. We prioritise handwriting and expect our children to meet or exceed handwriting targets, culminating in neat, cursive style. At Rotherfield, we use the LetterJoin programme to ensure that children are taught consistently, in a skills-based and engaging way, and with the appropriate stages of progression.
The children can access LetterJoin in school and at home, which reenforces letter and number formations taught at each phase and the phonics and statutory spelling and grammar for each year group.
